Skin Care Product - Artistry Amway [Review 1]

My face is normal to dry, dry especially on my cheeks and eyes area. Sometimes when I am too tired or stressed, my T-zone will get oily.

I have been using Artistry skin care product for more than 3 years. I use Essentials skincare type, which usually can be used for woman under 30 years old.

And I really really love this product. My face always smooth and moisturized. Luckily I don't have any acne problem, so I don't need any extra skincare for my face. I also give this anti-aging Artistry product to my mom. And the result is really amazing. Everybody tells my mom that she is so young for her age (she is 55 years old now).

I'd like to review all of the Artistry product I have now.

For cleanser, I use Artistry Essentials Balancing Cleanser. This is for Normal-Oily skin. Even my face is dry type, I prefer to use this as it's contains moisture as well. It will not make your face dry. I really like this cleanser because it will clean all my makeup, perfecto!

My mom is using Artistry Youth Xtend Rich Cleansing Foam, for all type skin. My smooth face surely I got from mom (hehe...). She loves this product, and of course because everybody said she is young, and we think it's because of this product too. Haha...

Artistry Essentials Balancing Cleanser

There are 2 kinds of toners I use, Artistry Essentials Hydrating Toner and Artistry Essentials Balancing Toner. Why I use 2 kind of toner? I am using this Hydrating Toner when I feel that my face is really dry because I spend more times in air-con room. Another one, Balancing Toner I use if I spend more times outdoor. These two kind of toners could give freshness on my face immediately. I put on a cotton, then tap on your face lightly.

Day Lotion
Artistry Essentials Balancing Lotion I use after toner. I apply on entire of my face except eyes area. This product contains SPF 15. This lotion will directly absorbed and can be used for my foundation primer. Absolutely will not make my make up faded.

Night Lotion
Time Defiance Night Recovery Creme, night cream specially for normal-dry skin. I am surely love this cream as it will give your face moisturized all night long.

Anyway, for Amway member, for every 1 package of cleanser, toner and lotion purchase, there will be 20% discount for any second time cleanser purchase.

To be continued, I will blog abut anti-aging skin care product soon...

Make Up Remover

Talking about cleansing your make up, I got some recommendation of cleansing product for any waterproof eyes and face make up.

Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter from The Body Shop

Just like its name, the packaging and contain like body butter. The smell is so good. Creamy.

I rub small amount on a cotton, and clean all the make up. It's true can remove all the waterproof make up, especially on mascara and eyeliner. I am a soft-lenses user and it is safe. It's easily washed by cleanser after that. Face will be more moisturized and fresh.

Artistry Gentle Action Makeup Remover
Artistry has a good makeup remover, with creamy (like milk cleanser). It's not sticky and could remove all face make up. Apply it first to all your face, do massage as well, then clean it with cotton. I can see all the powder, blush-on removed.

I prefer to use this remover to clean face makeup. For cleanin eyes makeup, I use Camomile Cleansing Butter.

Additional recommendation to use The Body Shop organic cotton pad, as it's really soft, strong and nice on skin. It's a bit expensive but I think it's worth as I can use one piece cotton to clean all make up because it's double-sided surface.

Double-sided cotton pad

Well, that's some recommendation product for cleaning your make up before use your cleanser. It's better to have your face clean up from make up before sleep. For me, clean and healthy skin is a great asset.

Grandpa's Girl

Suddenly miss my grandpa right now. He is not staying in Medan, but Pekanbaru, Riau. Well, he is 80 years old this year, but he is still teaching in a school, as Chinese language teacher. He can speak English fluently and keep texting me with English. Proud of him and salute! He likes to drive car alone to his school even we keep asking him to find a driver.

We have tried to ask him to retire this year, but he refused. He told me that he will get retired next two year.

He has a dream to travel around Indonesia to spend the rest of his life, especially Java, Bali, Lombok (he loves Javanese food, can speak Javanese, ya because he was born and grown up in Malang, Java).I would like to accompany him to go for travelling and spend more time with him.

Lessons that he ever told me, "When you are still alive, do good things. There are no use for you to live with praying all day to ask for yourself, but you never do good things to others"

And I almost cried when he said, "When I am not here anymore, please keep my photo and you can see me when you miss me."

Relationship vs (Early) Marriage

Well, okay, this is not really a Wifey blog from my experience, as I am still a 'girlfriend' now. But, it's okay to post about a wife things and thinks, right? I can share about wives life as what I heard and seen. And I just hope I can keep writing this blog as a wife in future.

Most of my friends are married now (it's not me who is late to get married, but they are just too early! Haha!). And most of them already had babies! Oh my, for me, I am not mentally ready to become a young mom (18-25 years old mom).

I have been in a relationship with the most amazing man, Kelvin, for more than 5 years. It's been a long long story for us to build a really strong relationship since we were in college. We are working hard together and we just bought a house with our own money (exactly on 1st January 2014).

I am really happy that I have a boyfriend who gives me chances to decide what I want to do. Even he likes me to decide everything, even where to eat, where to buy things, and everything about him.

We have plan to get married next year, and we are trying to make it happen. Another happy things in life, I know that I will have a future with him. I don't need to be a princess that wait for his proposal. I want to plan our new life together, only two of us.

Talking about early marriage, as Indonesian, especially Medan Chinese, most of marriages are all parents decision and intervention. Most, not all, actually. Parents to decide when, where, (how?), their children will get married. All the wedding receptions, money, house that couple will leave are well prepared by parents. I am not saying that their children are having no jobs or money, but how young-fresh graduated-couples could have a lot of savings, instead from their parents.

Sometimes I envy these young couples, because they don't have to think how they will pass their life without any worries (maybe).

No offense, guys. I am just telling the truth, this is what I heard and seen (as I mentioned above). Besides, helping children in their marriage is not prohibited by law mah...

In the other hand, there was one reason of early marriage, there might be a 'responsibility' of couples, to give happiness to their parents by giving them grandchildren.

The most important thing, as long the couples are ready, know how to settle every problems and promise to share their life in happiness or sadness, there are no restrictions how old you should be married.

What I love the most from my boyfriend, that we always have same thoughts too. He ever tweeted : "To all couple out there : Marriage isn't about how early or fast we need to, but how long we can keep and protect it." I am loving him more and more as he is so mature and always living in reality.
